LibreOffice overview

LibreOffice includes various applications that make that used to perform different functions.

  1. Base (For Databases)
  2. Calc (For Spreadsheets)
  3. Draw (For Vector Graphics, Flowcharts)
  4. Impress (For Presentations)
  5. Math (For Formula editing)
  6. Writer (For Word Processing)
  1. Open  “Application Menu”
  2. Click   “Office”

LibreOffice Base

Libre Base provides tools for day-to-day database work. It can create and edit forms, reports, queries, tables, views, and relations. It provides many features, such as the ability to analyze and edit relationships from a diagram view.

  1. Open  “Application Menu”
  2. Click   “Office”
  3. Click “LibreOffice Base”

After clicking the LibreOffice Base icon, window will appear.

LibreOffice Calc

Calc Tools for laying out data and crunching numbers make this application versatile. Wizards and other features assist you in analyzing data. It has several chart choices for displaying data.

  1. Open  “Application Menu”
  2. Click   “Office”
  3. Click “LibreOffice Calc”

After clicking the LibreOffice Calc icon, window will appear.

LibreOffice Draw

Draw is a vector drawing tool that can produce everything from simple diagrams or flowcharts to 3D artwork. With the help of this application user can easily build up a report, presentation, or any type of document with vector graphics.

  1. Open  “Application Menu”
  2. Click   “Office”
  3. Click “LibreOffice Draw”

After clicking the LibreOffice Draw icon, window will appear.

LibreOffice Impress

User can create presentations with images, artwork, and videos. Slide transitions can be three-dimensional. Impress provides multimedia presentation tools, such as effects, animation, and drawing.

  1. Open  “Application Menu”
  2. Click   “Office”
  3. Click “LibreOffice Impress”

After clicking the LibreOffice Impress icon, a window will appear. Here user select a template acording to requirement.

  1. Select template
  2. Click “Open

When user select a template, That particular template will be open.

LibreOffice Math

Math is the LibreOffice formula or equation editor. This helps you to develop well-formatted formulas to insert into another document.

  1. Open  “Application Menu”
  2. Click   “Office”
  3. Click “LibreOffice Math”

After clicking the LibreOffice Math icon, window will appear.

LibreOffice Writer

The application can create any type of document creating letters, books, reports, newsletters, brochures. You can insert graphics and objects from other components into Writer documents.

  1. Open  “Application Menu”
  2. Click   “Office ”
  3. Click  “LibreOffice Writer”

After clicking on the LibreOffice Writer icon, window will appear.
