Create a Screenshot

There is a easy to use an tool called scrot. You need to install scrot from LXTerminal. Please follow below instructions

1. Open Terminal
2. Update your system. Run below command

sudo apt-get update

3. Install scrot. Run below command

sudo apt-get install scrot

4. You can now create a screenshot with the following command

scrot

5. The screenshot format is .png und data name is the current timestamp. The screenshot will saved in /home/pi folder.

6. There is an additional option to prepare a window of choise with the following command.
7. Here are two additional parameter. The c is countdown and d is delay and the number is that time in second. In our example you will create a screenshot after 6 second. So you have now 6 second time to prepare a window of your choise.

You can always customize the expiration time
